Palazzina di Caccia

Work on the construction of the Stupinigi Hunting Palace began in 1729, on a project by Filippo Juvarra who continued, together with Benedetto Alfieri and other architects, the work on expansion until end of the 18th century. The building was the favorite place of the Savoy, for the organization of weddings and parties during the 18th — 19th century. In addition, since the 20th century it was the residence of Queen Margaret. Since 1919, the Museum of Furniture has been located in its interior. The palace was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
